Michigan Association of Chiropractors Selects ACOM's Rapid Complete Chiropractic Office Software Solution for Vendor-Partner Program
Lansing, Michigan (PRWEB) July 18, 2007 -- The 1,500-member Michigan Association of Chiropractors, formed earlier this year by the merger of the Michigan Chiropractic Society and the Michigan Chiropractic Association, has selected the RAPID Complete chiropractic software (http://www.acomemr.com) solution from the ACOM Healthcare Business Division to be a member benefit under the organization's Vendors in Partnership (VIP) program, it was announced today by MAC Executive Director Kristine Dowell and ACOM Vice President Gregory T. Church.
RAPID Complete is a fully integrated and customizable automated practice management solution (http://www.acomemr.com/rapid-epm.html) that enables doctors to eliminate paper processes on both the clinical and the office sides of the practice. Among its key features are patient self-registration, automation of clinical notes using electronic checklists and diagnostic helpers, a context-driven electronic database for patient files, automated case-specific final reports, 10 outcomes assessment reports, a sophisticated front office management suite that includes electronic claims submission, and an extensive set of management reports.
"We constantly seek partnerships with companies and organizations that bring value to our members and we have a staff person who is assigned that responsibility," Dowell said. "When we identify or are presented with a partnership opportunity, we analyze it thoroughly and submit it for further review by the member benefits committee of our board of directors, which is followed by a vote of the full board."
The organization voted to recommend RAPID Complete in spring, 2007 based on its quality, its ability to serve the full spectrum of chiropractic office requirements, and the reputation of the ACOM Healthcare Business Division within the profession, she said.
"It is a great solution and it answers the needs of today's doctors, who are under growing pressure from insurance companies, regulatory agencies and the demands of their own practices to move away from paper processes." Dowell said. "Today, a powerful automated office solution with electronic claims submission capabilities is as important to chiropractors as having a building to house the practice."
Dowell said that the association will be compensated on sales stemming from MAC referrals. The organization will support the promotion of RAPID Complete to its membership through various co-marketing activities, among them publicity in the MAC Journal, direct mail, conference attendance and exhibits, and seminar presentations.
"We are extremely pleased with the opportunity to participate in MAC's initiatives to advance the well-being of the chiropractic profession in Michigan," Church said. "The association's recommendation of RAPID Complete to its members represents strong support for our product and with it, we renew our commitment to maintain its position at the forefront of the chiropractic software field."
