DocuLex to Release Unique Extracted Data Accessing Electronic Data Discovery Software at LegalTech New York
Winter Haven, FL (PRWeb) December 11, 2006 - DocuLex, Inc., veteran creators of litigation support software will release a unique extracted data accessing electronic data discovery (EDD) software, DocuLex Discovery Cracker 5.0, at LegalTech New York, January 29-31, 2007. The off the shelf program represents the company's new architecture enabling a streamlined workflow of groups and views. Views consist of a subset of data pulled from across one or more information groups, and is created via DocuLex's new DataDetective utilizing numerous filtering options. Designed to quickly winnow large volumes of data, program users collaborate and tag specific records responsive for particular projects. Processing these views versus formal volumes of data leverages greater flexibility and maximizes workflow functionality. Discovery Cracker exports to most prominent litigation support management programs, including Summation (with eDII file support), Concordance, iCONECT, Ringtail and other prominent litigation information management systems and imaging platforms.
DocuLex's DataDetective is a unique online, native viewing front end included with Discovery Cracker 5.0. Hosted by license holders and enabling unlimited users, DataDetective provides access to discovery extracted data, allowing those with security permissions to filter, view natively and select individual files for processing. Being Internet browser based, DataDetective may be used both as a service for vendors and as an in-house preview tool.
"There's excitement by my team, for our customers and for the responses we look forward to receiving at LegalTech New York this year," comments Jim Grebey, Chief Operating Officer of DocuLex. "To succeed in this challenging EDD landscape you have to lead with the best products and support; we will continue to deliver that to our clients and 5.0 hammers this home."
At LegalTech, DocuLex will also demonstrate the new product's ability to further optimize its established distributed processing capability. Discovery Cracker 5.0 utilizes breakaway processing engines that when dispatched to separate, licensed computers can easily be called upon to assist in data processing. Coupled with options like adjusting project priority, the authorized user, with a click of the mouse, can skew processing power toward the project that needs to finish first. The program's central command center and a single person from one console can manage all facets of processing providing complete control over their EDD demands.
For more information about Discovery Cracker 5.0, or to reserve a seat for a scheduled presentation at LegalTech New York in Exhibit Booth 3109, call (863) 297-3691 ext. 209 or see www.doculex.com.
