METTLER TOLEDO Launches Four LabX® Direct PC Data Capture Software Products for Bench Top Lab Instruments

Columbus, OH (PRWeb) November 28, 2006 -- METTLER TOLEDO is delighted to announce the introduction of four new LabX® direct PC software products facilitating the automatic transfer and evaluation of measurement data from balances, moisture analyzers, pH meters, and density/refractive index instruments.

This new family of LabX direct software supports automatic collection and visualization of measurement data on a PC (e.g. in Excel), and improves user efficiency and data reliability by eliminating the need for manual transcription of instrument results. Each allows flexible definition of report formats and supports graphical result evaluation through use of Excel macros. LabX direct for balances, moisture analyzers, and pH meters also supports sample identification via a bar-code reader.

Each of the LabX direct products supports both bench-top and portable instruments. Typical bench-top applications include method development, data collection for time dependent research experiments (e.g. kinetics studies), or report generation (e.g. dissertation compilation). Users of portable equipment will appreciate the ability to collect measurement data in the field and download the complete list upon their return to the lab.
